Two Exams linked to the EMC Proven Professional Program’s Cloud Architect Track will be retired by EMC Proven Professional Program on January 21st 2016.
E20-018 Virtualized infrastructure Specialist Exam for Cloud Architects
E20-918 IT as-a-Service Expert Exam for Cloud Architects
Both of the above Exams will cease to be offered starting January 21, 2016. If you want to obtain either Virtualized Infrastructure Specialsit Certification, or IT-as-a-Service Expert Certification, you should take these exams prior. Your certification will continue to be valid after you pass the exam and you will still have access to EMC Program benefits.
E20-018 and E20-918 exams will be replaced by EMCCA track version 2.

Cloud Architects: E20-920 Cloud Services Expert Examination
The new E20-020 and E20-920 Exams are now available at Pearson VUE testing centres worldwide. The official Pearson VUE website allows you to locate the nearest testing center and to schedule old or new Exams.
The main difference between the current and upcoming Exams is that the previous exams focused on the transition of physical assets to a virtual cloud environment, while the new credentials will focus more on skills and knowledge required to develop and implement cloud infrastructure supporting various services, such as cloud management solutions for consumers, hybrid capabilities, disaster recovery, and so on.

E20-018 Virtualized infrastructure Specialist Exam for Cloud Architects Overview
E20-018 Exam tests candidates’ ability to design and plan Virtualized Data Centers (VDCs) and Cloud infrastructures while maintaining the most reliable computing, networking, and storage conditions. The Exam covers the following EMC products: VPLEX VMAX, ISILON Symmetrix VFCache, Virtual Storage Integrator and PowerPath.
To pass the exam successfully, candidates must have sufficient knowledge and skills in these topics: VDC and Cloud Architectural components – Applications, Governance Risk and Compliance, VDC and Cloud Architectural components – Storage, VDC and Cloud Architectural parts – Network, Introduction into Infrastructure as a Service.
